January 30, 2016: I’ll be rocking my inner and outer Slaminatrix at my favorite open mic, Saturday Night Special at Nick’s Lounge, 3218 Adeline Ave. in Berkeley. Open mic starts at 7:30. I’m on at halftime. Karaoke to follow. Helluva night!
April 17, 2015: I’ll be reading Metamorphosis, a section of memoir for the LipServiceWest reading series. If life hands you a lemon…jump out of a plane. (Be there to find out why…) Pegasus Books, 2349 Shattuck Ave. in Berkeley.
Art House Gallery at 5:15 PM February 1, 2015. That’s at 2905 Shattuck Ave. in Berkeley: After many years performing as a slam poet and improviser, I am thrilled to announce my first feature as a fiction writer. My beat includes absurdist humor, dystopian fantasy, quirky triumphs of the human spirit and everybody’s favorite: Wall Street bashing.
At this reading I will debut my first collection of flash fiction, Waiting for the Messenger. The New York Times calls it “a must read!” Okay, maybe that’s an exaggeration. You be the judge.
